Checking Transaction Records and the Remaining Value

  • Each time you use your Octopus, the transaction amount and the remaining value will be shown on an Octopus reader or on a printed receipt.
  • You can check the remaining value and the date, amount and service provider of your 10 latest transactions via the Octopus Enquiry Machines free of charge at any MTR, Airport Express, Light Rail stations. The remaining value can also be checked via some designated AEON ATMs installed with Octopus readers.
  • You can also request for a print-out of your last 10 transactions at the ticket offices or customer service counters at MTR stations for a nominal fee of HK$3 charged by MTR.

Lost Card Reporting Service

If you are a Personalised Octopus holder or a user of our Automatic Add Value Service, you can enjoy our Lost Card Reporting Service.

Refund Procedure

If you want a refund of the value on your On-Loan Octopus, the Refund Procedure is easy and worry-free.

Check Your Balance

You can also check the remaining value and the date, amount and service provider of the latest transactions on Octopus Enquiry Machines at any MTR, Airport Express and Light Rail stations.
